Man Stabbed Minimize
Stanwood Michiagn - On September 18, 2008, Mecosta County Sheriff Deputies respond to a stabbing that took place in Stanwood.

an on-scene investigation revealed that an 18 year old man pulled a knife on his 18 year old girlfriend at her house in Stanwood.

A 31 year old man from Mecosta, attempted to make the young man with the knife leave the residents and was stabbed in the chest area.

The Mecosta man was privately rushed to the Mecosta County Medical Center and then air-lifted to Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids for serious non-critical injuries.

The 18 year old suspect was arrested and taken to the county jail, he was charged with 2 counts of Felonious Assault and was arraigned in the 77th District Court on Friday September 19, 2008.
