On Tuesday, January 26, 2010, deputies from the Mecosta County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to Hometown Grocery, in the Village of Barryton, for a report of a truck that smashed into the front of the store.

Green Twp. - On March 23, 2009, Mecosta County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to Fenstermacher's Paving. It was reported that a dump-truck was vandalized in the parking lot.
According to Sgt. J. Koepke, the suspects used orange spray paint and broke a windshield from the vehicle causing damage.
