***On Sunday September the 28th - the Mecosta County Sheriff's office responded to a one vehicle roll-over crash on 6 mile rd. and US 131***The driver, a 22 year old Cedar Springs man was taken to the County Medical Center for his injuries***He was not wearing his seatbelt***

Two Woman Hospitalized In Head On Car Crash

 The Mecosta County Sheriff's Department is still investigating a head on car crash that took place on 14 Mile Road near 92nd Ave.

 An elderly woman from Mecosta was traveling westbound on 14 Mile, she was struck head on by a 30 year old Grand Rapids woman who was traveling with her 6 year old son in the car.

 According to the Mecosta County Sheriff's Office, the Grand Rapids woman driving east on 14 Mile, crossed the center line of the road causing the crash.

 The jaws of life were needed to remove the woman from their cars and they were both taken to Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids to be treated for their injury's. The accident took place around 10:25 AM Sunday morning.
