***Lakeview Woman Looses Control - On Tuesday August 19, 2008 - a nineteen year old woman from Lakeview was driving to fast on 5 Mile near 125th Ave., she lost control of her vehicle and crashed.***She was taken to the Mecosta County medical Center and treated for minor injuries.***

 At 10:32 this morning, Mecosta County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to an accident that involved a motorcycle and a car.

 According to Deputy Karen Hard a 15 year old Grand Rapids girl was driving her car east on 8 mile rd. when she was struck by a motorcycle being driven by Bruce McKamey of Lakeview.

 McKamey was taken to the Mecosta County Medical Center by EMS and later flown to Grand Rapids by Areomed for serious injuries.

 Mecosta County Sheriff Deputies were assisted by Austin fire and rescue.
