Good Gang Leader Escapes From Jail

 Mecosta County MI - On Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at around 10:20 p.m., thirty six year old Jonathan Joseph Good a convicted murderer who was in custody at the Mecosta County jail for 30 felony charges including kidnapping and attempted murder has escaped.

 According to Detective Sergeant Casey Nemeth, Good was able to pry back a metal screen and escape through a skylight in the ceiling of his cell, entering the roof area of the jail, lowering himself to the parking lot area and fleeing on foot.

 As of 4:42 p.m. this afternoon, the Mecosta County Sheriff's Department has reason to believe that Good is still held up in hiding in some vacant housing in the Big Rapids area.  Good may also have attempted to alter his appearance by cutting his hair and possibly obtain clothing.

 Good is 5'8" Tall, 160 lbs. Brown shaggy longer hair, goatee, might be wearing glasses.

 Last seen wearing a white T shirt, white shorts.

 Detective Nemeth says, "He is considered dangerous and should not be approached." 

 If seen, contact 911 and report his location to the Mecosta County Sheriff's Office.
