TAX DAY TEA PARTY A REVOLUTION IS BREWING IN BIG RAPIDS

 Mecosta County Republican Chairman Gordon Trute, hosted a Tax Day Tea Party In Big Rapids on Wednesday April 15, 2009, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, on State Street and Perry across from FSU. Trute said, this was  a peaceful march of everyday citizens that are fed up with the bureaucrats, that are deciding how to spend our hard earned money.

 Everyone, Republicans, Libertarians, Moderates, Democrats, Independents and anyone else who believes in a responsible Washington and a fiscally coherent Lansing was welcome to come and join the protest.

 According to Gordon Trute our National debt is over $12 Trillion ! That's $12 Million Million! and is over $36,000 we owe as taxpayers! Bailouts of 2008 and 2009 – Purely deficit spending. The Government does not have any money, it takes your money and, borrows more, then spends that! The 2010 budget adds $18 Trillion! Your share another $54,000 !
