At 7:00 a.m. officers report to a car deer crash on Woodward Ave. near Bailey. A 29 year old Big Rapids man was eastbound and saw a deer run into the roadway. He attempted to stop but hit the deer.
At 8:00 a.m. officers report to a traffic crash on Cedar near S. State St. A 53 year old Stanwood man was leaving the Admiral parking lot and smashed into an eastbound vehicle driven by a 47 year old Big Rapids man.
At 8:00 a.m. A 53 year old Stanwood man was cited for driving with a suspended license.
At 11:32 a.m. officers made a warrant arrest in the 1400 block of E. Elm st. A 22 year old Big Rapids man was arrested for a probation violation.
At 3:29 p.m. a harassment complaint was reported in the 1300 block of Catherine.
At 5:26 p.m. a walk in civil complaint was reported.

At 3:03 p.m. officers respond to a hit and Run on Maple and Michigan Ave. A 63 year old man was rear-ended and then after telling the other involved he wanted a report the car left. officers are still under investigation. (Suspect b/f driving a 90's maroon Jimmy)

At 9:07 a.m. property damage accident at Division and Fuller. Vehicle southbound on Division failed to stop at stop sign smashing into eastbound vehicle on Fuller.
At 1:20 p.m. officers report to a suspicious situation in the 800 block of N. Fourth St. Upon investigation it was found that a building was unlawfully entered. Remains under investigation.
At 3:26 p.m. a larceny was reported in the 100 block of N Michigan still under investigation.
At 3:33 p.m., a harassment complaint was reported in the 600 block of N State St.
At 7:31 a.m., a Larceny of a Nintendo PS was reported in the 1000 block of Rust. Still under investigation.
Thursday April 2, 2009
At 8:13 a.m. a larceny of a license plate was reported in the 400 Block of S. Michigan Ave.
At 12:06 p.m. more larceny of license plates were reported in the 100 block of Locust.
Officers report to a traffic crash were a 19 year old Plainwell woman rear ended a vehicle driven by a 56 year old Big Rapids man. Both vehicles were northbound and no injuries and tickets were issued.
At 1:15 p.m. officers report to a possible PPO violation. Still under investigation.
No other significant calls for service.
