July 6 Thru 8 - 2009 Big Rapids Police Blotters

 At 10:52 a.m., PIA Milton/Bjornson. A vehicle driven by a 77 year old woman from Leroy failed to stop for a stop sign and was smashed into by a vehicle driven by a 38 year old woman from Morley. The first driver was transported to MCMC by EMS. Juvenile passenger with the second driver also sought treatment at MCMC. The first driver was cited for accident.

 At 12:03 p.m., PDA at S. State St. and Mill St. A vehicle driven by a 17 year old Reed City man, entered S. State from a driveway and smashed into a vehicle driven by a 16 year old boy from Big Rapids. The first driver was cited for failure to yield from a driveway.

 At 12:14 p.m., PDA State/Woodward. A vehicle driven by a 65 year old man from Mecosta
was rear ended by a vehicle driven by a 19 year old woman from Big Rapids. The second driver was cited for the accident.

 09-2204-Reported assault that took place in December, 2008.

 At 12:48 p.m., officers were dispatched to a noise complaint in the 1800 block of Milton. No noise upon arrival. Made contact with tenant who advised a guest who had left the residence had the music loud.

 At 1:14 p.m., an officer was called to the 1000 block of S. State St.reference a
civil dispute. A patron advised she never received her change so she was not leaving until she did.

 At 4:30 p.m., Call of dog in vehicle resulted in the arrest of a 25 year old Rodney man on multiple warrants.

 At 10:25 p.m., officers report to a Parole violation in the 500 block of N Warren. A 50 year old man from Paris/Monroe was lodged at the county jail.

 At 12:50 a.m., officers investigate a Subject selling "pirate DVD's" in the 100 block of S. Michigan.  Had warrant for arrest and was lodged. Dvd's were confiscated. Still under investigation.

 At 8:39 a.m., atm fraud in the 300 block of S. State...under investigation.

 At 10:17 a.m., malicious destruction of property to a semi in the 1000 block of Baldwin...no further info.

 At 11:28 a.m., larceny from an auto in the 500 block of Fuller...under
investigation.

 At 12:26 p.m., malicious destruction of property to a vehicle in the 100 block of N. Second.   

 At 3:59 p.m., Trespassing in the 700 block of Watertower.

 At 11:10 p.m.,  Mental 100 blk of N Michigan

 At 12:23 p.m., Misd Stalking. Ex-husband possibly stalking ex-wife.

 At 12:43 p.m., Trespassing in the 1300 block of Catherine. 

 At 4:59 p.m., FTP Admiral in the 800 block of N. State. Still under investigation

 At 6:42 p.m., Susp sit.

 At 7:27 p.m., Civil in the 600 block of Osceola. 

 At 8:03 p.m., Liqour law violation  City park 600 block Osceola. Appearance ticket
issued.

At 8:06 p.m., Mental in the 1300 block of Catherine.
