 Officers report to a property damage accident at Colburn and Third. An 81 year old woman from Big Rapids failed to yield and crashed into a 56 year old man from Stanwood. The woman was cited for failing to yield.

 At 3:48 p.m., officers respond to a domestic assault in the 800 block of North 4th Street. A 41 year old from Big Rapids was arrested later in the shift for domestic assault, witness intimidation, phone tampering and a parole violation.

 At 4:20 p.m., a Larceny was reported in the 100 block of South Michigan Ave.

 At 4:45 p.m., a minor personal injury accident took place in the 800 block of South State St.

 At 5:59 p.m., officers report to a retail fraud complaint in the 1200 block of Perry. Still under investigation.

 At 8:53 p.m., officer respond to an assault complaint in the 1100 block of Fuller. 

 At 9:18 p.m., a fail to pay for gas was reported in the 600 block of S. State Street.

 At 10:20 p.m., a Noise complaint was investigated in the 200 block of Baldwin. Caller advised music to loud. The Bar shut their door and quieted it down.

 At 11:00 p.m., Noise was reported in the 1100 block of Fuller. a 19 year old woman at the resident was given a written warning.

 At 11:57 p.m., a Suspicious Situation was reported in the 200 block of Dekraft. 

 At 2:00 a.m., officers arrest a 22 year old Bay City man at State and Knollview for operating wile intoxicated. He was taken to the Mecosta County Jail and lodged. 

 At 3:19 a.m., officers report to the 300 block of State st. to investigate a "dine and dashed". No suspects at this time.

Thursday September 3, 2009

 At 7:53 a.m., officers investigate a Larceny from a mailbox in the 500 block of S. State Street.

 At 4:19 p.m., officers respond to a property damage accident at State and Oak. A 21 year old Muskegon woman was cited for failing to yield from a stop sign when she smashed into another vehicle driving on State St.

 At 4:19 p.m., officers make a warrant arrest from the woman that crash into another car on State Street.

 At 5:00 p.m., officers investigate a retail fraud in the 1200 block of Perry. A 45 year old Big Rapids woman was cited and released (due to a medical condition) for retail fraud.

 At 6:48 p.m., a Hit and Run property damage accident was reported in the 200 block of S. State. No suspects

 At 8:23 a.m. officers report to a Harassment complaint in the 500 block of N. State. Neighbors. Contact made with suspect.

 At 10:11 p.m., officers take care of a Domestic complaint in the 100 block of W. Madison. A 44 year old Chicago man was arrested for domestic violence and lodged at the Mecosta County Jail.

 At 11:50 p.m., officers report to a Larceny that occurred on the previous night in the 400 block of Maple. A 17 year old and a 22 year old Big Rapids man had bikes stolen from the residence, one bike was located at an apartment in back of a business on 16 mile. Suspect is a 22 year old Big Rapids man.

 At 11:04 p.m., Noise was reported in the 200 block of Baldwin. Area quiet upon arrival.

 At 3:23 a.m., Noise was reported in the 100 block of W. Madison. A 28 year old resident was issued a written warning.
