At 11:55 a.m., officers report to a trespassing complaint in the 800 block of N. 4th Ave. A warning was given to the perpetrator.
At 1:57 p.m., a black Huffy bicycle was found in the river at Hemlock park.
At 3:41 p.m., officers respond to an accident in the 1200 block of Perry. An eastbound vehicle driven by a 64 year old Big Rapids man smashed the rear of a vehicle driven by a 34 year old California man. The Big Rapids man was cited.
At 4:57 p.m., officers investigate a suspicious vehicle in the 800 block of Division.
At 5:44 p.m., officers investigate the Larceny of a purse in the 200 block of Oak St. The crime occurred 2 days ago.
At 5:54 p.m., there was a peace officer standby in the 400 block of Woodward.
At 6:00 p.m., officers take a walk-in harassment complaint from a woman that said she was being harassed by her ex-boyfriend.
At 7:39 p.m., a walk-in domestic complaint that allegedly took place 3 months ago was reported, likely filed in retaliation to the above harassment complaint.
At 10:54 p.m., officers investigate a (Barking dog) noise complaint in the 200 block of Second St.. A 38 year old Big Rapids woman was given a written warning.
At 11:32 p.m., officers cited a 21 year old Ann Arbor man for having an open intoxicant on Michigan and Oak St.
At 11:34 p.m., officers were called to a civil situation in the 800 block of north State St.. The situation started over in the 700 block of Farnsworth where a 39 year old Phillips WI. woman was thrown out of her mother-in-laws house by her husband. Officers stood by while she collected her kids and some clothing.
At 11:35 p.m., officers cited a 21 year old Leroy man for open intoxicants on Oak and Ives.
At 12:28 a.m., officers arrested a 20 year old Paris man for drinking and driving on State and Elm, he was lodged at the Mecosta County Jail.
At 12:38 a.m., officers cited a 20 year old Dearborn woman and a 20 year old Dearborn man for minor in possession of alcohol on Locust and Warren.
At 1:08 a.m., officers responded to the 600 block of Oak. A 38 year old Eaton Rapids man became disorderly when the doctor told him he needed to go to the burn unit for treatment of the 3rd degree burns on his arm (from hand to elbow). After officers calmed him down, he still refused treatment. The doctor advised because of his HIGH level of intox he was not capable of making 'good decisions' He later went with out incident.

At 10:47 a.m., Animal Control was called - tenants moved out and left a dog in an apartment in the
1100 block of Fuller. Dog taken to the animal shelter.
At 11:10 p.m., officers respond to a noise complaint in the 600 block of Osceola. a warning was issued to a 22 year old Traverse City woman.
At 11:16 p.m., Animal Control was called out to the 600 block of Bjornson. A puppy was found in a laundry room and taken to the shelter.
At 11:17 p.m., officers began investigating the Larceny from an automobile in the 200 block of S. Michigan Ave. The vehicle was entered and a carton of ciggy-butts, a GPS, a wallet without ID and credit cards were stolon. Later, about 2:18 a.m., officers were called for an assist in the 700 block of Perry, where a highly intoxicated homeless man attempted to get the manager of a business to take him home and let him stay at his house. The homeless man gave the business manager a GPS and told him he could keep it if he could go home with him. Officers recontacted the complainant of the auto larceny and it was confirmed that this was indeed the GPS that was taken from the vehicle. Officers arrested the 47 year old homeless man and lodged him at the Mecosta County Jail for the auto larceny.
At 11:27 a.m., officers report to a disorderly in the 1000 block of S. State. GOA
At 1:00 a.m., officers cited a 26 year old East Lansing man for driving on a suspended license in the 300 block of Morrison.
At 1:42 a.m., officers reported to a noise complaint in the 200 block of Baldwin (call came from Tioga). officers advised to make sure their door was kept shut as patrons were leaving, no further calls.
At 2:40 a.m., officers were called to a disorderly complaint in the 400 block of Maple. Several people were causing a disturbance, and broke bottles before leaving the area. They were gone when officers got there.

At 10:20 a.m., officers assist the Mecosta County Sheriff Deputies in the 400 block of S. Stewart where a Domestic took place.
At 12:57 p.m., officers investigate the Larceny of a purses in the 1100 block of Fuller.
At 1:22 p.m., officers made a warrant arrest of a 56 year old Big Rapids man.
At 1:06 p.m., officers report to the 200 block of Monroe. A 36 year old Paris man backed into a vehicle. "minor damage"
At 11:18 p.m., officers investigate the Larceny of a Bulldog in the 900 block of Watertower.
At 11:44 p.m., officers did an area check in the 400 block of S. State st.
At 1:31 a.m., officers investigate minor in possession of alcohol in the 600 block of Division.
At 2:20 a.m., a fight was reported in the 700 block of Perry. "GOA"
At 4:45 a.m., a fail to pay for gas was reported in the 200 block of S. State st. Unfounded.
