At 4:22 p.m., officers respond to a crash on State and Cedar. A 20 year old Jenison man was cited for operating an unsafe motor vehicle after faulty brakes caused him to be unable to stop before smashing into a vehicle belonging to a 21 year old Portage woman.
Officers report to a suspicious situation in the 1100 block of Fuller
At 1:00 a.m., officers report to a noise complaint in the 500 block of Spring. A noise warning was issued.
At 2:26 a.m., officers respond to the 400 block of S. Stewart. A 20 year old man was cited for possession of alcohol.

At 11:43 a.m., An officer was called to the 100 block of Maple St. in reference to a single car crash. A 42 year old Big Rapids woman, crashed into a brick wall near city lot 4.
At 12:10 p.m., A 23 year old Ludington man turned himself in on a misdemeanor warrant for possession of Marijuana.
At 12:24 p.m., An officer was called to a two car crash at S. State St. and Oak St. A vehicle driven by a 32 year old Mecosta woman, pulled out in front of a second vehicle driven by a 23 year old Ionia man. The First driver was cited for failing to yield at a stop sign.
At 3:34 p.m., officers report to a larceny complaint in the 500 block of Hutchinson. Lawn furniture. No suspects. Happened within the past week.
At 4:55 p.m., officers respond for a fail to pay for gas complaint in the 500 block S Third. $20.72 in gas was taken. No suspects or plate info.
At 5:53 p.m., officers respond to a domestic assault in the 900 block of Colburn. a 17 year old woman was lodged at the county jail.
At 6:59 p.m., officers respond to threats that happened in the County. Report has been filed in Osceola. Boyfriend and Girlfriend are being harassed and threatened by her step dad. They think that he may come to there house and do something.
At 12:57 a.m., officers report to the 800 block of N State St. for a possible domestic coming from a residence. Complainant advised could her a lot of screaming and what sounded like a woman being beaten. Checked the apartments near the area all was quiet.
At 1:43 a.m., During the course of a traffic stop, officers determined that a passenger was a minor in possession of alcohol and the driver had a suspended license. Both subjects were cited and released.
At 1:47 a.m., officers report to a business in the 700 block of Perry. A witness saw someone throw a garbage can at a window and break it. A 20 year old male suspect from Byron Center was located and lodged at the Mecosta County Jail.
At 4:14 a.m., Subjects didn't pay for food at a business in the 300 block of S. State. Waitress was cleaning and found a suspects ID and credit card. The investigation continues.

At 9:55 a.m., a fail to pay for gas was reported in the 800 block of N State. The suspect was driving a Dodge Neon and took $6.12 in gas. Officer is investigating.
At 10:30 a.m., Peace Officer-male wanted some of his personal property from residence in the 300 block of Second. Closed.
At 3:18 p.m., officers respond to a hit and run in the City Hall parking lot. Suspect vehicle is a
black Kia with 2 middle age white woman.
At 4:51 p.m., officers report to a suspicious situation in the 700 block of Fuller. A woman had a debit card she canceled 2 years ago show up with a charge on the account.
At 5:08 p.m., officers report to a property damage accident on State and sanborn. No injuries.
At 8:28 p.m., officers respond to the 1200 block of Perry and found some dumpster divers behind a business. They were told that if they had permission, to do it during business hours when it could be verified.
At 9:16 p.m., officers issue a noise warning in the 100 block of Locust.
At 10:22 p.m., officers arrest a 39 year old man for domestic violence in the 400 block of N Third Ave.
At 11:28 p.m., officers respond to the 100 block of S Third Ave. where a man who was served with divorce papers was trying to get his belongings to move out of state. He just left the area.
At 12:45 a.m., officers respond to a dumpster fire in the 500 block of S. State st.
At 2:23 a.m., officers report to a trespass complaint in the 600 block of S Michigan Ave. A 27 year old Big Rapids man was arrested after refusing to leave and becoming extremely violent.
