11:25 a.m., officers respond to an accident on State and Perry. A 71-year old woman from Big Rapids was making a right turn off State and smashed into a 32-year old Grand Haven woman who was driving west on Perry.
12:56 p.m., officers report to a "hit and run" on Colburn and Third. An investigation is in progress.
9:56 p.m., officers are on the scene of an accident on Third and Colburn. A 73-year old Stanwood man drove off the road and smashed into a tree. The man attempted to leave the scene but could not get his vehicle back on the road. Officers arrested the man for "operating while intoxicated," and escorted him to the Mecosta County Jail.

4:25 p.m., officers report to State and Cedar for a traffic crash. A 22-year old Port Austin man made an "unsafe lane change", and ran a 19-year old Big Rapids woman off the road. The man was cited.
Officers were on Third and Washington, where a 21-year old man was driving with a suspended license.
Officers were on the scene of State and Knollview making a "operating while intoxicated" arrest. A 20-year old Evart woman was taken to the Mecosta County Jail for the crime.
An attempted "Breaking and Entering" took place in the 1800 block of Milton. A tall subject attempted to open the back slider door to an apartment. The suspect left on foot. The woman at this address reported her sheets, quilt and comforter were stolen from the washer.
Officers investigate a minor accident on State and Pere Marquette. A 23-year old Big Rapids woman was making a left turn off State onto Pere Marquette and smashed into a 32-year old Hersey woman.

5:04 p.m., property damage accident on South State St.. No further info.
2:08 a.m., officers respond to the 100 block of S. Michigan Ave. The DJ there reported that a 21-year old Gladwin woman poured beer all over his 'DJ machine'.
2:56 a.m., officers make a traffic stop and arrest a 24-year old Big Rapids man for "operating while intoxicated", and a 25-year old Paris woman for violating her probation. They were both lodged at the Mecosta County Jail.
