3:14 p.m., a 56-year old Novi man was pulling his semi out of a business in the 600 block of Dekrafft, when he smashed into a 68-year old Mecosta woman's vehicle. The Novi man was cited for failing to yield at a driveway.
3:41 p.m., officers report to State and Elm. A Big Rapids woman was cited for making an unsafe lane
change. She crashed into a vehicle when she changed lanes.
4:30 p.m., officers arrest a 33 year old Morley woman for an outstanding warrant from Kent County.
7:05 p.m., officers report to the 200 block of Baldwin to investigate the "malicious destruction of property" to a vehicle. It took place sometime the night before.
1:20 a.m., officers report to Linden and Stewart, where they lodged a 19-year old Alpena man at the Mecosta County jail, for "minor in possession of alcohol" and "hindering".
1:22 a.m., officers investigate the Larceny of a trophy in the 300 block of Linden. The investigation led to the arrest of a 23-year old Lexington man.
1:43 a.m., officers respond to the 100 block of S. Michigan to investigate some "disorderly subjects".
2:02 a.m., officers report to Morrison and State streets, where a 24 year old Big Rapids was cited respectively and lodged at the county jail for "operating while intoxicated" and "open Intoxicants".
2:43 a.m., officers report to the 100 block of Chestnut and lodged an 18-year old Coldwater man for "prowling".

officers investigate a "suspicious situation" in the 100 block of N. Michigan ave. the door was open on a building.
4:19 p.m., officers respond to a "harassing phone calls" complaint in the 1200 block of Perry ave..
7:48 p.m., officers respond to the 800 block of Maple, where a intoxicated man was passed out in the street. Officers called a cab and had the man taken to a local hotel.
11:06 p.m., officers report to the 500 block of S. Michigan. A caller reported that the glass
in the front door of a house was broken out. officers found no suspects to this incident.
12:39 a.m., officers respond to State and Perry. A 19-year old Howard City woman failed to stop at a flashing light and smashed into the car of 22 year old Big Rapids woman. She was cited for "failing to yield".
1:09 a.m., officers respond to the 700 block of Perry, to do a walk thru at the bar; looking for "minors in possession of alcohol" Subjects GOA.
2:02 a.m., officers were on the scene of State and Perry. A 21 year old Big Rapids woman was cited for "driving with a suspended license".
3:39 a.m officers report to a "suspicious situation" in the 1000 block of S. State. Several calls were
received about a man around his 40's knocking on car windows, and asking to get into cars to order food. A 40-year old Ferndale man was located in a vehicle in the line. The driver said that the man offered to pay for his meal if he let him go thru the drive thru with him. Complainant didn't wish to speak to officers or make a complaint..
3:55 a.m., noise was reported in the 1100 block of Fuller. a 21-year old Big Rapids woman was given a noise warning.

6:42 a.m., officers investigate a "hit and run" accident in the 700 block of Fuller. The "SUSPECT" was in a white mini van that should have extensive front end damage....
7:04 a.m., officers report to a "barking Dog" complaint in the 200 block of Sanborn. A civil ticket was issued to the dog's "master".
9:15 a.m., officers do a "well being" check in the 1700 block of S. State.
10:57 a.m., officers handle a Phone in Fraud complaint that turned out to be a mistake by staff in
the 700 block of Perry.
11:52 a.m., officers investigate the "malicious destruction of property" to a vehicle in the 400 block of S. State.
11:31 a.m., officers respond to a "home invasion" in the 500 block of N. State. A Mr. Coffee brand coffee maker was taken, and food was tampered with.
1:35 p.m., Noise was reported in the 500 block of Marion. Loud music coming from the next door residence.
officers investigate the Larceny of a "Pro-line Bow" and "12 arrows" in the 200 block of Marion. Occurred sometime over the weekend.

9:56 a.m., officer investigate the "malicious destruction of property" in the 400 block of S. Michigan.
3:45 p.m., officers report to an accident on State and Rust. A 29-year old Reed City woman was going southbound on State and stopped in traffic, when she was smashed into by a 23-year old Newaygo Man. The Newaygo man was cited for "stop in assure clear distance".
5:24 p.m., officers investigate an assault in the 1000 block of Loudon. Still under investigation.
7:39 p.m., officers report to a "larceny" complaint of a Coldwell Banker real estate sign in the 500 block of Rust. The crime took place overnight.
2:10 a.m., make a traffic stop on Second ave., resulted in the arrest of a 28-year old Big
Rapids man for "operating while intoxicated".
3:42 a.m., officers report to a noise complaint in the 200 block of W. Madison.
