10:57 a.m., officers report to a suspicious situation.
11:39 a.m., officers are on the scene of a disorderly in the 200 block of S. Michigan.
12:49 p.m., officers report to Locust and South State St., for an accident that took place when a 51-year old Stanwood woman stopped on west Locust. She started to move forward and smashed into the rear-end of a vehicle being driven by a 55-year old Morley woman. A ticket was issued in the Stanwood woman's name. No injuries were reported.
3:43 p.m., officers were on the scene of State and Rust, were an accident took place. An investigation was performed and it was deduced that a 40 year old Hersey woman was stopped at the stop sign on Rust - when she entered the intersection she was crashed into by a 22-year old Newaygo man; who was driving southbound. A ticket was issued and no injuries were reported.
7:57 p.m., Officers respond to the 600 block of S. State St., where it was reported that a black man with long braided hair and a pony tail had pre-paid for $33.91 in gas on pump 2. He then drove to pump 4 and pumped for himself - $51.68 worth of gas before sneaking off. Witnesses said he was driving new silver Yukon or Blazer. His direction of travel and license plate were unknown.
At 2:00 a.m., officers report to a noise complaint in the 1100 block of Fuller.

6:01 p.m., officers respond to the 500 block Marion, where they stood by while a former Big Rapids man packed his belongings and left his ex-girlfriend's residence.
7:21 p.m., Officers responded to the 500 block of Fuller, where a 28-year old Big Rapids woman reported that her laptop computer had been stolon from her home. Officers returned to the woman's home a short time later and spied her hiding the so called "stolon computer" before answering the door. At that point in the investigation, officers suspected that the woman had indeed filed a false report of a felony. The case has been turned over to the prosecutor's office for further review.
1:43 a.m., officers make a traffic stop in the 800 block of Watertower. A 21-year old Big Rapids man for arrested for "operating while intoxicated."

10:17 a.m., officers respond to the 100 block of W. Madison for a "Domestic Assault." A mother and daughter fight had took place during the week, and officers are investigating.
12:02 p.m., officers resported to State near Elm st.. A 19-year old Grand Rapids man smashed his vehcle into the rear of a vehicle driven by a 23-year old Oscoda woman. Her vehicle crashed into a vehicle driven by a 59-year old Big Rapids woman. All vehicles were northbound tickets were issued.
1:00 p.m., officers report to a Suspicious Situation in the 300 block of N. Warren.
5:53 p.m., officers take care of a Civil situation in the 300 block of S. Third.
At 6:50 p.m., Officers investigate a "threats" complaint in the 1100 block of Fuller. An investigation has been launched.
1:35 a.m., officers reported to State and Oak, and cite Four Ferris Students for "minor in possession of alcohol.
1:43 a.m., officers do an area check in the 900 block of Dexter where a loud explosion was reported. A man was seen running from the area, but officers were unable to locate the subject.
2:54 a.m., officers were called to the 200 block of S State St. A subject reported seeing a female subject smacking her boyfriend. The boyfriend left the area and has not reported anything.
2:51 a.m., officers reported to the 300 block of Morrison for a loud party. A 21-year old Big Rapids man was cited for the noise.
3:03 a.m., officers did an area check in the 100 block of Woodward. A report was received that some subjects were arguing. Officers were unable to locate.
3:06 a.m., officers report to the 1000 Block of S. State St., where some "subjects" were fighting in the parking lot. The subject that started the fight left the area before officers arrival. The other "subject" was determined to be a "minor in possession of alcohol." The young Hersey man was cited and released.
