10:57 a.m., officers are called to investigate a "malicious destruction of property" case in the 100 block of Sanborn. A glass window was broken - happened between 10/15 and 10/17. No suspects.
4:07 p.m., officers investigate a larceny in the 100 block. Oak. A Coffin Halloween decoration, and a house address plaque was taken.
5:55 p.m., officers respond to an accident on Fuller and Division. A vehicle driven by a 67-year old Barryton man turned north from Fuller Ave. onto Division St., and into the path of a vehicle driven by a 22-year old West Olive man. The 67-year old was cited.
12:58 a.m., officers report to a Larceny/Civil situation in the 300 block of Second St.. The complainant told officers that her friends: 19-year old boyfriend took 3 of her IPods/MP3 players. She also said that she did not want to press charges, she just wanted her stuff back. The possible suspects, told officers that they had no idea of what the complainant was talking about. The complainant again told officers that she didn't wish to pursue charges.

12:01 p.m., officers handle a civil situation in the 100 block of Pemberton.
12:39 p.m., officers investigate a "breaking and entering" complaint in the 700 block of Perry. $13,000.00 worth of glass frames was said to have been taken. Back door was pry-ed open.
3:29 p.m., officer investigate a gas drive off in the 500 block of south Third St.. $5.00 in gas was taken, suspect used an incorrect license plate.

8:46 a.m., officers make a warrant arrest for "Domestic Assault" on a 46 year old Big Rapids man in the 300 block of N. Warren.
2:05 p.m., officers investigate an assault in the 300 block of Marion. A woman was moving out of another woman's home, and was causing problems.
4:04 p.m., officers investigate the "malicious destruction of property" to a vehicle in the 1100 block of Fuller.
11:32 p.m., officers make a traffic stop on Baldwin, and issue a citation for no registration.

5:25 p.m., officers report to the 1200 block of Perry, to investigate the "larceny of a laptop" from a Motor Vehicle.
6:05 p.m., officers investigate a "retail Fraud" in the 1200 block of Perry. A 56 year old Howard City
woman was lodged at county jail. Officers attempted to connect the retail frauds to the earlier larceny of the laptop from a motor vehicle, but were unsuccessful.
6:18 p.m., officers investigate a hit and run "property damage accident" in the 300 block of Oak St.
7:46 p.m., officers report to a hit and run "property damage accident" in the 600 block of S. State.
7:59 p.m., officer investigate a "fail to pay" in the 600 block of Maple, no vehicle info.
10:49 p.m., hit and run personal property damage accident in the 100 block of Locust.
11:47 p.m., officers respond to an attempted larceny from a vehicle complaint in the 400 block of Marion.
1:44 a.m., officer are dispatched to a "breaking and entering" on Madison and Second.
1:38 a.m., officers respond to a noise complaint in the 200 block of Baldwin.
1:19 a.m., officers are called to an attempted "breaking and entering" on Madison and Second. Related to the on Madison and Second. Still under investigation.
