9:45 a.m., officers handle a harassment complaint at Parkview village.
11:20 a.m., officers report to a property damage accident at north State and Pere Marquette. A 29-year old Big Rapids woman failed to yield and smashed into a vehicle.
12:25 p.m., officers investigate a fraud complaint in the 200 block of Baldwin. A stolen/unauthorized use of a credit card.
1:51 p.m., officers respond to a property damage accident on Michigan north of Maple. A 49-year old Hersey man was exiting a parking space and smashed into a southbound truck driven by a 20-year old Mentor, Ohio man. No injuries and officers issued some tickets.
2:30 p.m., officers head back to the Big Rapids Public Safety building and take a walk in assault complaint, the complainant said he/she was in the 600 block of Linden being fired from his/her job. The terminated employee claimed to have been assaulted by the supervisor.
4:14 p.m., property damage accident at Maple and Warren. 44-year old Chippewa Lake woman was ticketed for failing to yield from a parking space.

officers report to the 700 block of S. State, a disorderly situation resulted in the arrest of an 18-year old for having a false ID.
5:26 p.m., personal property damage accident in the 600 block of S. State.
8:58 p.m., property damage accident at Pere Marquette and State, very little damage.
9:32 p.m., officers were on 2nd and Madison, doing an area check for some minors in possession of alcohol. They were GOA.
12:10 a.m., officers were in the 200 block of Linden. A 19-year old Bettendorf, IA, FSU, student was cited and released for being a minor in possession of alcohol.
12:30 a.m., officer report to Michigan and Locust, a 21-year old Gagetown MI, resident was
cited and released for having an open intoxicant.
12:54 a.m., officers report to the 200 block of N Fourth St. for an Attempted Murder. A 19-year old Big Rapids man was shot in the arm. A 24-year old suspect and his father were arrested. The Investigation continues. See local news section for details.
12:34 a.m., officers report to the 400 block of South Michigan Ave. for a nuisance party. Three tenants will be cited for Hosting a Nuisance Party.
1:08 a.m., officers respond to the 100 block of Woodward Ave. for a Suspicious Vehicle. GOA
2:31 a.m., officers are in the 300 block of Morrison for a Loud Noise from a vehicle complaint. GOA
2:55 a.m., officer respond to the 500 block of S. Michigan Ave. for a loud party. A written warning was issued.
1:59 a.m., officers report to the 100 block of Oak St. for a malicious destruction of property complaint.

9:28 a.m., officers do an area check on Watertower and Fuller for a drunk man falling down a lot. utl.
1:04 p.m., officers investigate a hit & run personal property damage accident in the 400 block of S. Michigan.
1:26 p.m., officers look for a lost blackberry in the 100 block of S. Michigan.
6:01 p.m.,officers respond to a domestic situation in the 500 block of Clark. A 27-year old Morley man was arrested for Domestic violence, Possession, and violating probation.
7:01 p.m., personal property damage accident the in 800 block of South State.
9:09 p.m., officers make a warrant arrest in the 200 block of S State St. A 34-year old Big Rapids man was arrested on a "CMENT" warrant.
12:34 a.m., officers make a traffic stop on Fourth near Madison, led to a 34-year old Big Rapids
woman being cited for possession of an open intoxicant in a vehicle.
1:51 a.m., officers investigate a suspicious situation on rails to trails north of Maple. An area check on the trail led to a man running off and leaving his bike behind.
2:44 a.m., officers make a traffic stop of a truck on State and Sanborn. A 20-year old Big Rapids man was arrested and taken to the Mecosta County Jail for "operating while intoxicated," a 20-year old Niles MI, man was cited for "minor in possession of alcohol" and released; then a 21-year old Pickford MI, man was cited for possession of an open intoxicant. During the course of the this traffic stop, officers were contacted by a resident of a house in the 300 block of S. Stewart that said that one of the men in the truck had stolen two pictures from there house. The 21-year old Pickford MI, man was arrested and charged for "breaking and entering."
officers report to the 200 block of S. State St. to investigate a fail to pay for gas. Still under investigation.
4:58 a.m., officers are called to the 800 block of Fuller to investigate a breaking and entering. Officers discovered that a 20-year old Muskegon MI, man had broke into a resident and was sleeping in a storage closet.
3:13 a.m., officers are called to the 100 block of Locust for the report a larceny.

3:37 p.m., officers investigate a larceny of laptops in the 100 block of Locust. They were left in an unlocked house.
4:17 p.m., officers investigate a violation of a bond conditional release in the 600 block of Clark.
