Thursday December 17, 2009

 3:50 p.m., officers respond to an accident on State and Lindon. A vehicle driven by a 68-year old Howard City woman failed to yield while attempting to cross State St. She smashed into a 79-year-old Big Rapids man.

 5:20 p.m., officers handle a civil in the 700 block of N Fourth.

 8:28 p.m., officers handle another civil in the 200 block S Warren.

 4:57 p.m., officers report to an accident on State near Maple St. A vehicle driven by an 18-year-old Brimley woman pulled out of a private drive and into the path of a 21-year-old Remus woman. The Brimley  woman was cited for failing to yield.

 1:55 a.m., officers make a traffic stop in the 100 block of W. Bridge, resulted in the arrest of a 21-year-old Big Rapids man.

 7:56 a.m., malicious destruction of property took place in the 100 block of S. State. Glass to a door was broken.

 7:57 a.m., malicious destruction of property report was taken in the 200 block of S. State.

 8:46 a.m., malicious destruction of property report was taken in the 300 block of N. State. Windows were broken.

 11:32 a.m., malicious destruction of property report was taken in the 200 block of S. Michigan. Windows were broken.

 11:12 a.m., officers were taking a retail fraud complaint in the 1200 block of Perry and a woman became disorderly.

 11:12 a.m., officers arrest a 19-year-old woman for contempt of court out of Reed City.

 12:50 p.m., officers got a call that a suspicious person tried to throw a brick through a window.

 1:06 p.m., officers investigate a Larceny of money out of a bank account.

 1:26 p.m., officers take a malicious destruction of property report in the 300-block of Morrison. Back windows broken out of vehicle.

 1:27 p.m., officers take a malicious destruction of property complaint in the 300 block of Morrison.

 10:19 p.m., officers investigate an "Assault and Battery" in the 200 block of E. Pine St.

 12:41 a.m., officers perform a "Civil Standby" in the 200 block of E Pine St.

 2:14 a.m., officers do an "Area Check" in the 700 block of Perry St

 3:01 a.m., officers respond to a "Noise Complaint" in the 1100 block of Fuller St.

Saturday December 19, 2009

 9:35 a.m., officers respond to State and South St. where a 23-year-old man was hit by a car when he disregarded the traffic signal for pedestrians, and ran out in front of a vehicle driven by a 49-year-old Big Rapids woman. The man suffered a minor injury.

 11:40 a.m., officers investigate a credit card fraud complaint in the 700 block of River St.

 1:42 p.m., officers report to a threat complaint in the 500 block of N. Michigan.

 10:55 p.m., officers respond to Michigan and Locust where a snowman was assaulted. A witness saw a group of guys getting out of a pick-up truck with baseball bats.

 12:33 a.m., officers do an area check in the 600 block of S State St. for disorderly subjects. GOA

 12:39 a.m.,officers report to the 1100 block of Catherine for a Civil dispute. 

 1:18 a.m., officers respond to the 1100 block of Catherine for loud noise, a warning was issued.

 12:56 a.m., officers go to the 700 block of Maple for a citizen assist.

 4:00 a.m., officers investigate an assault and a malicious destruction of property in the 100 block of E Bridge St. 

Sunday December 20, 2009

 1:15 a.m., officer respond to a domestic situation in the 1800 block of Milton. A 20-year-old man was arrested.

Monday December 21, 2009

 9:08 a.m., officers take a car/deer accident report on bjornson. No further info.

 10:03 a.m., officers investigate a stolen checkbook case in the 1300 block of Colburn and found that a check was written for a pizza. A 23-year-old Big Rapids man was arrested and lodged for felony larceny.

 12:44 p.m., officers handle a custody dispute - took place last Friday. Dad (from Evart) picked up son and wont give him back to mom (in Paris). She filed a report and was advised to get a court order.

 2:30 p.m., check well being in the 300 block of Ives.

 3:16 p.m., officers respond to a trespassing in the 800 block of Country Way.

 3:16 p.m., Threats were reported in the 800 block of Country.
