2:29 p.m., officers investigate a Larceny in the 1300 block of Catherine, Subject believed money was stolen 2-days prior, even though no one knew where the money was, suspect is in Muskegon.
2:47 p.m., officers arrive on State and Marion, where a 2 vehicle accident took place. A 47-year-old Big Rapids woman was driving southbound on State, she lost control and crossed the center line crashing into a northbound vehicle being driven by a 47-year-old Paris man.
3:14 p.m., officers respond to the 200 block of W. Spruce, where a possible domestic battle turned out to be a civil situation over child custody. The man had physical custody of the children and the woman who had visitation privileges for Wednesday., had a Previous agreement with the man that she would pick up the children on Thursday if he allowed it, but the man changed his mind the week before and revoked the agreement. Mom still showed up to school and went into class and took her daughter. The daughter was turned back over to dad per court order, and he was advised to address this with FOC.
4:48 p.m., officers investigate a Fraud that took place in August in the 800 block of Division.
5:19 p.m., officers receive an anonymous call that a man was drinking himself to death in the 500 block of N. Michigan. When officers arrived on the scene they found two men that had warrants, they were both lodged at the Mecosta County Jail.
7:05 p.m., officers arrive on the 500 Block of S. State where a two vehicle accident took place. An 18-year old Okeana, OH woman rear-ended a 59-year-old Big Rapids man. They were both driving south on State St.
10:50 p.m., officers do an area check in the 300 block of N. Warren.
11:59 p.m., officers investigate the passing of counterfeit bills in the 100 block of S. Michigan, a 26-year-old Big Rapids man was arrested. Still under investigation.
12:25 a.m., officers take a report of a suspicious situation in the 700 block of Perry St.
1:37 a.m., Attempt UDAA in the 400 block of Green St
4:05 a.m., officers take a hit and run accident report in the 1800 block of Milton.

8:51 a.m., officers respond to the 200 block of Ives for a possible domestic. A man and woman were arrested and lodged at the Mecosta county jail.
12:15 p.m., officers report to the 200 block of W Spruce for a Larceny report of a Ring. The crime was thought to have taken place 2-days prior.
2:29 p.m., officer investigate the larceny from an automobile in the 400 block of Marion.
Officers were down in the 200 block of Sanborn and found a 20-year-old Big Rapids man who had two warrants for his arrest. The man was taken to the Mecosta County Jail.
8:23 p.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of Fuller where a juvenile reported that her mother was attempting to run her over. After an investigation officers discovered that this report was false. It was found that the young girl left home without permission and her mother was just trying to stop her. The girl was apprehended by officers and after being escorted back into the home, she had a tantrum and started knocking things over. Meanwhile, officers were out in the hallway advising the mother on courses of action to take when the young girl emerged into the hallway saying that she was leaving, she then assaulted the mother. Officers proceeded to take the girl into custody when she resisted and assaulted her mother again by kicking her. Officers transported the girl to Muskegon River Valley.
1:11 a.m., officers took a home invasion report in the 400 block of Fuller.
3:28 a.m., officers do an area check in the 200 block of Baldwin.

2:47 p.m., officers respond to a rear-end accident on Ferris Dr. at the new stop signs.
2:58 p.m., officers investigate a scam in the 1200 block of Perry, a man reported that he sent money to India for more money in return.
4:45 p.m., officers report to the 900 block of Colburn where a man was walking in the road obstructing traffic, he was also verbally abusive and threatening to a motorist. During the investigation his brother, a 19-year-old Big Rapids man was found to have a warrant for his arrest. He was taken to the Mecosta County Jail.
10:41 p.m., officers take a noise complaint in the 300 block of Morrison resulted in a warning notice being issued to a 21-year-old Big Rapids woman.

11:48 a.m., officers respond to the 200 block of S State for a Hit and run report.
12:32 p.m., accident on State and Elm.
6:28 p.m., officers assist a peace officer in the 200 block of Linden St.
6:53 p.m., officers were called to an area check for a woman being assaulted with an unknown object in the 300 block of Maple St. A suspect vehicle plate, which came back no record, was given by an anonymous caller. Dispatch attempted to call back the subject after officers checked the area numerous times. Subject would not answer. Neither parties were located.
