3:29 p.m., officers report to a retail fraud in the 1200 block of Perry. Two juvenile males were cited.

3:51 p.m., officers investigate a Breaking and entering in the 1600 block of Speer.

5:05 p.m., officers respond to a Threats complaint.

5:35 p.m., officers do an area check in the area of Sanborn and Hutchinson.

6:13 p.m., officers make a Traffic Stop in the 600 block of N. State St. This led to the arrest of a 35-year-old man from Grand Rapids and a 32-year-old male from Grant on an outstanding warrant.

7:11 p.m., officers make a warrant arrest for a 38-year-old Big Rapids man.

9:19 p.m., officers do an area check in the 300 block of Rust.

10:53 p.m., officers investigate a Larceny that was reported in the 800 block of Country Way.

11:01 p.m., officers respond to a noise complaint in the 1800 block of Milton.

12:13 a.m., officers investigate a malicious destruction of property complaint in the 700 block of Perry St.

8:17 a.m., officers respond to a malicious destruction of property complaint that occurred over night in the 100 block of Woodward.

11:75 a.m., officers report to the 600 block of Bjornson to investigate the larceny of lawn ornaments: a concrete goose, a bird bath, and 2 - 6 foot tall black shepherd hooks.

2:00 p.m., officers investigate a Larceny that occurred in the 100 block of Platt Ave. Checks were taken.

2:18 p.m., officers arrest a 24-year-old Muskegon man on 6 outstanding warrants and driving without a license in the 600 block of S. State St..

2:31 p.m., officers investigate the Larceny of a Bird Feeder in the 600 block of Bjornson.

4:30 p.m., officers arrest a 27-year-old Kent City woman in the 400 block of Elm on 2 outstanding warrants.

5:28 p.m., officers respond to a Harassment complaint in the 500 block of South Third St.

5:27 p.m., officers investigate a malicious destruction of property complaint to a lawn ornament in the 800 block of winter.

6:40 p.m., officers investigate a suspicious person in the 500 block division.

12:16 a.m., officers report to a noise complaint - UTL, in the 1800 block of Milton.

5:30 p.m., officers report to the 600 block of Woodward, 8 solar lights had been stolen from a lawn.

11:20 a.m., officers respond to a noise complaint in the 1800 block of Milton. A ticket was issued to a 31-year-old Big Rapids resident.

1:53 a.m., officer report to a noise complaint in the 300 block of Morrison. GOA

3:49 a.m., officers investigate a disorderly in the 300 block of Morrison. A drunk individual was pounding on a door looking for a friend, the subject was told to stop.

Thursday April 15, 2010

1:10 p.m., officers give a Trespass warning in the 1800 block of Milton.

3:36 p.m., officers respond to an accident on Michigan and Pine. A 59-year-old woman from Big Rapids started to make a turn onto Michigan from pine but had to stop for traffic when a 56-year-old Big Rapids woman was following to close and crashed into her vehicle.

5:44 p.m., officers were called to a disorderly in the 800 block of Maple. The subject was GOA.

5:05 p.m., officer investigate the unlawful drive away of an auto in the 1300 block of Catherine. The vehicle was later returned by the suspect who just borrowed it a few hours too long.

5:52 p.m., officers were called to a verbal domestic in the 100 block of Woodward.

9:47 p.m., officer respond to an accident on Perry and Division. A 19-year-old Caledonia man attempted to make a left turn onto Perry from Division when he smashed into a vehicle driven by an 18-year-old Wayland woman.

2:20 a.m., officers respond to a noise complaint in the 1100 block of Fuller. (UTL)

On Friday, April 16, 2010, around 5:00 p.m., the Big Rapids Fire Department was called to Pepper's Cafe on Michigan Ave. where smoke had been reported in the basement of the building.
