Mecosta County - On Monday, February, 9, 2009, Forty one year old Steven Michael Weaver of Muskegon MI, was sentenced to 19 months to 4 years in prison for one charge of 3rd degree child abuse. According to a court document, Weaver is a habitual 3rd offense offender, who was convicted of unarmed robbery in 1992 and breaking and entering in 1998. According to the department of corrections, Weaver's earliest release date will be 09/01/2009. When he was sentenced, Weaver was given 373 days of jail credit. Two charges of sexual misconduct were dismissed in Steven Weaver's case.
