Mecosta County Court Reports For Monday Januray 4, 2010 - Walker Pleads Guilty

 49th Circuit Court Of Mecosta County

 Twenty-four year old Demario Antwaun Walker from Muskegon MI, pleaded guilty to "Motor Vehicle Unlawful Driving Away." Walker who is an habitual offender with past convictions of Attempted Home Invasion, Domestic Violence, and drug charges will have a sentencing on February 16, 2010.

 Forty-one year old Mario Ramiro Guevara from Stanwood, who pleaded "no contest" on November 23, 2009, to "Assault with a Dangerous Weapon" (a hunting Knife.) was given a 7-month jail sentence. Guevara received 131-days of jail credit and will spend 24-months on probation.

 Twenty-seven year old Dustin Lee Vanassche from Reed City was sentenced to 3-months in jail for a 3rd offense of "Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated." Vanassche, also received a 5-day jail sentence for "failing to stop at the scene of a personal injury accident."

 Fifty-one year old Robert Alfred Scheidel Jr. from Greenville was sentenced to 1-day in jail for "Conspiring to Manufacture Marijuana." Scheidel will spend 24-months on probation and pay $628.00 in fines.
