49th Circuit Court Of Mecosta County
Twenty-one-year-old Joseph John Benson from Big Rapids pleaded guilty to one count of "Larceny in a Building." Charges of "Home Invasion" will be dismissed, prosecutors recommend time served. Benson was released and is awaiting his February 22, 2010 sentencing.
Forty-six-year-old Timothy Alan Dahlke from Morley was sentenced to 93-days in jail for "Domestic Violence," 9-months and 15-days for interfering with "Electronic Communications," 31-days for "Operating While Intoxicated," and also was given two 30-day sentences for "Criminal Contempt." Dahlke's sentences will run concurrent.
Thirty-one-year-old Barbara Ellen Burton from Big Rapids pleaded guilty to a 3rd offense of "Operating While Intoxicated." Per Benson's plea, charges of driving with a suspended license will be dismissed. Prosecutors will not object to Burton having the opportunity of wearing a tether in lieu of jail. A sentencing for Burton will be held on March, 8, 2010.
Thirty-two-year-old Jennifer Jeanne Sprik from Kentwood pleaded guilty to a 3rd offense of "Operating While Intoxicated." Per her plea one charge of operating with a suspended license will be dismissed and Sprik will have a sentencing on March, 8, 2010.
