Twenty-year-old William Eugene Phillips II from Ypsilanti was sentenced to 60-days in jail for "Larceny in a Building." The crime took place in a library were Phillips was accused of stealing a book-bag that contained a laptop computer. Phillips was ordered to pay fines and restitution in the amount of $1607.37 and spend 2-years on probation.
Thirty-nine-year-old Ana Hilda Torres-Hernandez from Big Rapids was given credit for, and sentenced to 35-days in jail for "Financial Transaction Device - Possession." (credit card possession) She was also given $710.97 in fines.
Fifty-seven-year-old William Perry Atcher from Brenton Harbor was sentenced to 10-months in jail for "Larceny From The Person." Atcher was ordered to pay $1968.53 in fines, and spend 12-months on probation.
