49th Circuit Court Of Mecosta County Forty-one year old Brian Keith Patrick from Bitely was sentenced to 5-months and given credit for 56-days for a charge of "Retail Fraud - First Degree." (stealing from Meijer) Patrick will also pay $628.00 in fines.
Fifty-two year old Thomas Joseph Shannon from Mecosta was sentenced to 1-day in jail for a charge of "Controlled Substance - Manufacture Marijuana." Shannon will also pay $628.00 in fines.
Thirty-seven year old Etta Jane Grayer from Big Rapids was sentenced to 90-days in jail for "Financial Transaction Device - Illegal Sale/Use." Grayer will pay fines and restitution in the amount of $1283.63 and spend 36-months on probation.
Twenty-eight year old Johanna Lynn Speigl from Big Rapids was sentenced to 60-days in jail for making a "False Report of a Felony" (home invasion).
Fifty-seven year old Jimmie Allard Chrisman from Paris was sentenced to 30-days in jail for a 3rd offense of "Operating While Intoxicated." Chrisman will also pay fines in the amount of $628.00.
Thirty-nine year old Daniel Lynn Leger from Pontiac pleaded no contest to "Assault With Intent To Do Great Bodily Harm Less Than Murder" and a charge of "Weapons Dangerous Weapons - Carrying With Unlawful Intent." There might be a sentencing for Leger on May 17, 2010.

Seventeen-year old Cody Michael Cashen from Remus pleaded guilty to a charge of "Attempted Home Invasion." Cashen's bond was reduced and charges of 2nd degree Home Invasion will be dismissed. There might be a sentencing for him on May 17, 2010. |

Eighteen-year old Allen Michael Thatcher from Barryton pleaded guilty to, two charges of "Home Invasion 2nd." and one charge of "Larceny From a Motor Vehicle." (taking a GPS device) Prosecutors are recommending prison Boot-camp and a two year cap on Thatcher's minimum sentence. Firearm charges will not be pursued and his sentences will run concurrent. |

Forty-two year old Dennis Carl Holman pleaded guilty to one charge of "Robbery - Armed," charges of "Bank Robbery" were dismissed along with a habitual offender 4th notice. The prosecution is recommending a minimum cap of 72-months and a maximum sentence of 20-years for Holman who might be sentenced on May 17, 2010. |

Twenty-six year old Demaris Dean Johnson from Remus pleaded "no contest" to a charge of "Assault With Intent To Do Great Bodily Harm Less Than Murder" and a charge of "Weapons - Felony Firearm." Remaining charges against Johnson were dismissed and the prosecution is recommending a 2-year consecutive sentence for the felony firearm charge and a 4-year to 10-year sentence for the assault to do great bodily harm charge. There might be a sentencing held for Johnson on May 17, 2010. |

Thirty-eight year old Samuel Gilbert Conley from Rodney was sentenced to three to 15-years in prison for a charge of "Criminal Sexual Conduct - Second Degree" (person under thirteen). Conley will also pay $628.00 in fines. |

Twenty-eight year old Christopher Lee Williams from Walled Lake was sentenced to 1-year and 1-month to 2-years in jail for "Larceny Building." Williams will also have to pay $16,321.25 in fines and restitution. |
