Boyne City MI News - EMS was called to an accident that sent a Boyne City woman to the hospital with a suspected broken elbow and other injuries.
According to the Sheriff's Office, 18-year-old Rachel Butler lost control of her 2000 Mercury Sable and crashed into a tree on Springvale near Springbrook Road.
Deputies said Butler was taken to Northern Michigan Hospital by Boyne City EMS for a suspected broken elbow and possible other injuries that occurred during the accident.
The sheriff's office believes alcohol and speed to be a factor in the crash.
The Melrose Fire Department along with EMS personal was on the scene of the crash with the Sheriff's Department.
