Troy MI News - Troy police say they have arrested three suspected prostitutes after raiding a massage parlor for prostitution, according to a news report made by (WXYZ) in Detroit.

Police investigated the Recovery Spa on Maple Street in Troy after receiving an anonymous tip in the fall of 2011.

Police said they were able to find several websites that gave them information leading them to believe that there was sexual acts taking place at the Recovery Spa.

One such website that Big Rapids .biz found is called the "Rub Map" where some people posted reviews about the Recovery Spa that could make one believe that more then just friendly massages were taking place at the Troy massage parlor.

According to (WXYZ,) two woman from New York:  45-year-old Minu Yu Quan and 39-year-old Shun Fu Lin as well as the owner of the Recovery Spa massage parlor, 55-year-old Ok-Suk An have been charged with crimes relating to the prostitution.

The owner of the massage parlor - Ok-Suk An, age 55 of Sterling Heights, Michigan turned herself in to the Troy Police Department and was arraigned before Judge William Bolle of the 52-4 District Court in Troy on the following charges: “Engage in an Illegal Business,” “Solicit for Illegal Acts,” “No Massage Facility License Displayed,” “No Fees/Prices Posted,” and “Allowing Unlawful Acts.” All charges are misdemeanors punishable by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than 90 days or by a fine of not more than $500, or both. Bond was set at $1000.

A pre-trial hearing was held on January 30, 2012 before Judge Dennis Drury in the 52-4 District Court in Troy where the five original charges were dismissed and Ok-Suk An pled “guilty” to a sixth charge of “Disorderly Person.”  Judge Drury placed Ok-Suk An on a one year, non-reporting probation.

Shun Fu Liu, age 39 from Flushing, New York; and Ming Yu Quan, age 45, also from Flushing, New York. Both were charged with “Prostitution,” a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than 90 days or by a fine of not more than $500, or both.  Both waived arraignment and are scheduled for a pre-trial exam on February 27, 2012 at 52-4 District Court in Troy before Judge Dennis Drury.
